CORAL SPRINGS, Florida (July 5, 2017) – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced today with a total of 952 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Maryville College senior Sarah Grace Holland was named a WGCA All-American scholar after playing in at least a dozen competitive rounds while averaging a 95 or better and maintaining a 3.5 grade point average or better throughout the duration of her collegiate career.
"Sarah Grace has been a really strong leader both on the golf course and in the classroom. She has excelled at the highest level," stated Maryville College Head Women's Golf Coach Mandy Hammonds. "As a coach there is nothing more that you could ask in a player than the attitude, leadership, talent, and work ethic that Sarah Grace displayed. We are really going to miss her next year. We wish her the best in her future. She will make a wonderful teacher."
