2017 Maryville College graduate Justin Collett joins the Maryville College football staff for the 2018-19 season as the College’s Head Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. He will also assist the football program directing the development of the Fighting Scots’ offensive line.
This Hiram, Georgia native studied exercise science at MC attaining his Bachelor of Science degree in May of 2017. Collett is certified as a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach and he will attain his (CSCS) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist this winter. He has worked with Maryville High School's strength and conditioning program with the football program under the highly-experienced Coach Brandon Waters. He also gained a solid foundation learning from former MC assistant Philip Bailey.
Justin, a former offensive lineman for Maryville, was named team captain by his teammates during his senior year. While leading MC to an 8-2 record and a league title his senior year, he was named by the league coaches as a 1st team All-USA South Athletic Conference selection.
